Hello! Meet the founders and creators of Lotus & Balance. 

He pours the concrete, she pours the wax!

They met in 5th grade, fell in love junior year of high school, went to college, got married and had 3 amazing kids. Both born and raised in Wa, now living in Bothell and raising 3 teenagers (wish them luck!) and a rescue pup from Aruba.

Through a mutual passion and desire for creativity and human connection again - Lotus & Balance Candle Co was born. They both got to work mastering their craft of candle making and business building. Still learning and loving the adventure - they are gearing up for a very full and fun year. Side gigs gone wild -this is the dream job! :)

Chelsea:

• Pours the wax
• Manages the business and operations side of things
• Fragrance creation / product testing
• Event coordinator
• Loves: creating her own schedule, being her own boss, raising 3 awesome kids, yoga, camping, music, margs, coffee, mexican food!
• Does not love: mean people, spicy food, wind, mazes, cliff edges, running, being cold

Toby:

• Pours the concrete
• Manages the inventory and production side of things
• Creates product names
• Loves: steak, football, family, friends, truth, writing, trees, philosophy, podcasts, camping, music, rivers
• Does not love: social media, bartenders calling him "boss", lazy people, politics, rules, sour cream, traffic, atmospheric rivers!
